Weird note:Today i was logging into my blog from internet explorer but when i clicked "log in"i would keep getting this weird message from Google.That is why I'm logging in from Firefox instead.Anyway, I'm here to write a blog and that's what I intend to do.


My Wii

As you might have heard from my "Welcome back"blog(see post)that I got a Wii for Christmas.Anyway it's been over a month since I got it and,to put it lightly,it's awesome!!I really like the game's I got(of course I got games to go with it!)like Mario kart Wii and star wars the force unleashed II.


But what really motivated me to talk about my Wii was that I just got Wii fit plus.It's sorta like a fun sports game that allows you and your family active without even going outside.Uh-oh!I don't know what to write.It's probably just a case of writer's block(see post:Just another short blog...),I will try to keep writing but I don't know how much longer I can do this(i get writers block alot),so I will wrap it up now.Anyway I love my Wii and I recomened it to anyone who doesn't have one(alot of people have Wii's).

A few cool things about being homeschooled

This blog I'm going to tell you a few awesome things about being homeschooled(you all know I'm homeschooled,right?).

1.My blog: If i was in school,my blog would definitely be different.I'd probably have half a dozen teachers(well,maybe not that many)looking over me to make sure i at least did the minimum specified amount of words and that i get it done before a certain time.It would be either that or no blog at all.


2.Work:Being:homeschooled,i only have to do like an hour of work a day which is awesome because while everyone else is siting in a boring classroom being taught something they don't really want to know, I've already finished my work and am doing fun stuff.


3.?:Uh oh!I don't know what to do for number 3!I might come back to this tomorrow(maybe,maybe not)but until then this will have to do.

Redoing the blog on the Kronan

I am redoing the blog on the Kronan(see post) because of  how short it was(it was only two sentences long)and if you look at it, you will see what i mean.The construction of the Swedish first rate Kronan began in 1668 as part of a massive expansion of the Swedish fleet.When she was completed in 1672 she was one of the largest ships in the world.


 In 1676 she was the flagship of the Swedish fleet that fought the combined Danish-Dutch fleet in the battle of Öland.During the battle she was turning to engage the Danish-Dutch fleet when a gust of wind blew her over.A few minutes later her magazine exploded and she sank,taking with her almost all of her crew of 850 men.

The sinking of the Yamato

In April 1945 Japan launched operation Ten-go(heaven number one)with the hope of  destroying the the American forces at the Japanese held island of Okinawa(which the Americans had just landed on)and saving their rapidly sinking Empire(at least for a while).



The strike force,comprising of the Super-battleship Yamato(see post),the light cruiser Yahigi and eight destroyers,sailed on April 6th,in the last major Japanese naval operation of the war.Only hours after sailing they were spotted by two submarines,who reported them to the American 5th fleet.

On April 7th the 5th fleet launched a two hour all out attack on the task force.By the end of the attack the Yamato was capsizing,twenty minutes later she had fully flipped over when a huge explosion ripped her apart.When the smoke cleared the Yamato,the largest and most heavily armed warship ever put to sea,was gone.The attack had also sunk the Yahagi and four of the destroyers.

Napoleon Boneparte

Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15 1769 in the town of Ajaccio,Corsica.He went off to military academy at a fairly young age and thereafter joined the army.In 1793 He joined the French revolution and became a general and served in the army for 10 years.


In 1804 Napoleon became Emperor of France but,surprisingly,he stayed in the army and kept the rank of general.His rampaging was brought to a stop at the battle of waterloo where the combined force of the British and the Prussians(Germans)of the seventh Coalition destroyed the French army and forced Napoleon to surrender.His life ended in exile on the British held island of st Helena in 1821.

Just another short blog......

Horatio Nelson

I am going to start writing about famous people(like napoleon)and their history.Admiral Horatio Viscount Nelson was born in Norfolk,England on September 29th 1758.He joined the British Navy in 1771 as a ordinary sailor on a ship of the line commanded by his uncle.He rose through the ranks and was put in command of several frigates before taking command of HMS Agamemnon,a 64 gun ship of the line.



In this ship he took part in several minor battles and was badly injured a couple of times(he lost sight in his right in a action on Corsica in 1794 and lost his right arm in an attack on Tenerife in 1797). A year before Tenerife he got a new ship and joined the British Mediterranean fleet with which he fought in the battle of Cape St Vincent.After St Vincent he was promoted to Admiral and fought in the battles of the Nile(see post),Copenhagen and Trafalgar(see post).During Trafalgar he was mortally wounded by an enemy sharpshooter(sniper)and died about three hours later.

Welcome back

Welcome back!Hope you had a merry Christmas and a happy new year and got a lot of presents!I certainly had a good holiday,so i will tell you about my Christmas and new year.Christmas:I had a pretty good sleep(i woke up at 5:00 on Christmas morning)and woke up to find a lot of presents under the tree(like i do on every Christmas morning).



Here are a couple of things i got for Christmas:a wii(wiis are awesome!)with two games to go with it and a new computer game that's pretty fun.New years:I spent new years eve at winter camp witch was pretty memorable(a flaming marshmallow landed on someones jacket!!)and came home late on new years day.
