The Mary Rose:redo

The construction of the huge English warship Mary Rose began in the year 1510 at the large port town of Portsmouth. When she was completed in 1512 she was one of the largest warships in the world,
second only by English standards to her larger sister ship the Great Harry. In 1536 she was rebuilt,
allowing more cannons to be fitted. In 1545 she sailed out of port with the rest of the English fleet to engage a larger French force in what became known as the Battle of the Solent.During the battle, while firing at some French galleys,a strong gust of wind blew her over onto her side and she sank, taking all but 35 men out of a 400 man crew with her.
