M36 Slugger tank destroyer

The American built M36 Slugger was designed to combat the new German Panther and Tiger tanks.
Unlike the Hellcat the Slugger was heavily armoured and armed with a 90mm gun.The Slugger was not deployed to the Western front until late 1944.The Slugger was liked by it's crews because it was one of the only tanks able to safely destroy the Panthers and Tigers.The Slugger was also used in the Korean war and then shipped to many countries And fought for them.
